With today’s installation of a PRESSPOiNT™, PEPC’s interactive newspaper kiosk, at the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort in St Julians, this 5-star resort is Malta’s first to daily offer international travelers the latest editions of 93 newspapers from 43 countries. The Netherlands-based PEPC (Publishers Electronic Printing Concept) has now introduced its print-on-demand service at publicly accessible, high traffic venues in 15 countries around the globe. Among the available newspapers are leading publications such as the International Herald Tribune, USA TODAY (USA), the Los Angeles Times (USA), Sports Nippon (Japan), El Pais (Spain), Komsomolskaya Pravda (Russia), Le Figaro (France), Times of India (India) and El Economista (Mexico).
The Official PEPC Dealer in Malta, Media Satellite Worldwide Ltd, installs PRESSPOiNTS at international, high traffic venues such as hotels, airport concourses, cruise ships and convention centres throughout Malta. During the Maltese launch ceremony, held this afternoon at the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort, the Minister for Tourism, Dr Michael Refalo, printed the first PRESSPOiNT™ -newspaper.
