PEPC CREDITCARD CLEARING SERVICES

PEPC Worldwide has developed a Credit Card Clearing System based on proprietary software as researched by ZC Law and Arbor Law. This software is capable to read and receive credit card and PRESSPOiNT™*-card encryptions. The Management Information System, registered technology, records this information and uploads it once a day from all PRESSPOiNTS* through a secured virtual private telephone line to the PEPC’s Control Center. On a daily basis, all Credit Card transactions are cleared in Denmark. After the clearing the money is sent to PEPC where payments to PEPC partnering companies are made.

INTERACTIVE ON DEMAND NEWSPAPER KIOSK NOW AVAILABLE IN THE MIDDLE EAST

With the installation of the PRESSPOiNT™ at the new Fairmont Dubai, a 394-room luxury business hotel, PEPC has currently launched its state-of-the-art, on demand newspaper concept, in four continents. With the recent addition of El Periodico from Guatemala, the PRESSPOiNT™ now digitally prints the latest edition of 66 newspapers from 35 countries.

WORLD TRADE CENTERS ASSOCIATION SIGNS STRATEGIC ALLIANCE AGREEMENT WITH PEPC WORLDWIDE

100 NEWSPAPER TITLES GLOBALLY AVAILABLE: ON TIME AND ON DEMAND

PEPC Worldwide today proudly announced the signing of its 100th newspaper distribution agreement. With the addition of Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, PEPC now digitally distributes the latest editions of 100 newspapers from 44 countries to high traffic, international venues throughout the world. In the previous month Göteborgs-Posten (Sweden), Udayavani (India), Bisnis Indonesia (Indonesia) and Sofia Echo (Bulgaria) joined PEPC. The company’s rapidly expanding Newspaper Publishers Network represents leading titles such as USA Today (USA), Washington Post (USA), Le Figaro and Le Monde (France), Neue Zurcher Zeitung (Switzerland), Die Welt (Germany), De Telegraaf (The Netherlands), Mainichi Shimbun (Japan), Il Giornale (Italy) and El Pais (Spain).
PEPC (Publishers Electronic Printing Concept) presented the 100th participating newspaper this afternoon at the IfraExpo 2002 in Barcelona. “In the previous months we’ve been able to increase the number of participating newspapers tremendously,” says Rob Dorpmans, CEO of PEPC Worldwide. “With the signing of USA Today and the Los Angeles Times we’ve had 70 newspapers on board by the end of April 2002. PEPC WORLDWIDE NAMES NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

The Netherlands-based PEPC Worldwide N.V., a global distributor of digitally transmitted newspapers from newspaper publishers around the world, today announced the appointment of Rob Dorpmans as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Dorpmans succeeds Raoul Maphar, co-founder of PEPC Worldwide. Mr. Dorpmans will assume his new role effective from October 15th

.
Mr. Dorpmans brings 20 years of management and leadership experience to the company. After graduating in Business Administration in 1980 (Nijenrode, Business School, The Netherlands) Mr. Dorpmans held various sales positions at Burroughs Computers/Unisys Computers. In 1987 Mr. Dorpmans became Marketing & Sales Director of the Media Information Group offering products and services to the publishing and printing industry. Subsequently, Mr. Dorpmans became responsible for the financial market at Stratus Computers.
In 1994 Mr. Dorpmans was hired by Banyan Systems to build the Benelux sales organization. Being promoted to the position of country manager for North West Europe, Mr. Dorpmans was responsible for overall activities in the Benelux, the UK, France and Spain. The last two years Mr. Dorpmans taught Management & organization and Strategic Marketing Management at two educational institutes in The Netherlands.
Former CEO Raoul Maphar will remain involved in the company’s operations as VP New Business Development.
