INTERACTIVE ON DEMAND NEWSPAPER KIOSKS INTRODUCED IN THE NETHERLANDS ANTILLES

PEPC Worldwide today announced the introduction of the PRESSPOiNT™, PEPC’s self-contained interactive kiosk, in the Netherlands Antilles. PRESSPOiNTS have been installed at four high-traffic international locations in Curacao. Mr. Ramon Chong, Commissioner of Tourism of Curacao, printed the first PRESSPOiNT™ -newspaper today at the Lions Dive & Beach Resort in Curacao. PEPC’s newspaper-on-demand service currently prints the latest edition of 69 newspapers from 37 countries including leading national and international dailies such as the International Herald Tribune, USA Today (USA), The Los Angeles Times (USA), The Atlanta Journal & Constitution (USA), El Pais (Spain), Il Giornale (Italy), Die Welt (Germany), De Telegraaf (The Netherlands) and El Economista (Mexico).

With the installation of a PRESSPOiNT™ at HATO Airport, PEPC launches its innovative service in a highly attractive market. “International airport concourses are the perfect fit for our service”, says Raoul Maphar, CEO of PEPC Worldwide. “I can’t think of any other location of similar high international traffic volume. Our service relieves the long hours waiting of a captive audience.”

Next to Curacao International Airport, PEPC’s local Dealer (Eagle Vision/Creative Image Technology represented by Mr. Stanley Capriles) has installed PRESSPOiNTS at the Lions Dive & Beach Resort, the Sheraton Curacao Resort and SuperClubs Breezes Curacao. “Tourism is the top priority for economic development and employment in Curacao. By installing a PRESSPOiNT™, Curacaoan hotels can provide their guests and visitors with a unique service: the latest edition of their local newspapers while away from home”, states Raoul Maphar. PEPC expects to install 50 PRESSPOiNTS in the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba this year.
