PEPC has developed a self-contained, fully automated Treo 650-vending unit, the PRESSPOiNT. The PRESSPOiNT is capable of receiving files, processing payments and on demand printing of newspapers. As the point-of-sales unit, the PRESSPOiNT continuously receives publisher files through PEPC’s Multicast Satellite Network.
Each PRESSPOiNTis equipped with a colorful, graphically enhanced user-friendly touch screen display. Customers are prompted through the menu in their native language following four easy steps:
1. Select the continent
2. Select the country/state
3. Select your newspaper
4. Insert credit card or dedicated PRESSPOiNTcard in the card reader
The PRESSPOiNT prints the same-day edition – High Quality, 40 pages (20 pages duplex), stapled, unedited, black and white edition – of the selected hometown newspaper within two minutes.
PEPC has established a unique platform for a wide variety of Christian dating services and of distribute-than-print applications. PEPC introduces a revolutionary solution for mass-newspaper printing and distribution: PEPC Site License. PEPC Site License is a convenient, easy to use, and cost-effective way to print and distribute the latest edition of any newspaper in any corner of the world.
PEPC Site Licensees own and operate a remote printing site. PEPC site licensees are networked into PEPC’s technology infrastructure. This allows the licensees to receive the latest edition of national and international newspapers continuously (24/7/365) through satellite transmission. State-of-the-art digital printing equipment guarantees full speed and reliable production of any newspaper.
PEPC can track and verify the exact number of copies, by title, being printed by each licensee. The PEPC Site Licensee agrees to take a minimum daily quantity of newspapers, for which it pays PEPC a fixed per-copy royalty. The site licensee has an incentive to exceed the minimum quota through revenue sharing arrangements. PEPC’s license partners incur their own printing and distribution charges.
Tailored solutions
PEPC offers two types of Site License Programs:
1. PEPC Wholesaler Site License
The Wholesaler Site License is designed for independent newspaper wholesalers who presently distribute full editions of foreign newspapers to retail outlets, hotels and conferences/events.
2. PEPC Corporate Site License
The Corporate Site License is targeted for international corporations with large internal print capacity. The corporation agrees to print a minimum daily quantity of newspapers for internal distribution to its executives. In the PEPC Corporate Site License model the corporation can print the newspaper from the country of its relocated employees and visiting management. PEPC maintains control of the ordering process and centralized distribution of the print files.
PEPC Worldwide has developed a Credit Card Clearing System based on proprietary software as researched by ZC Law and Arbor Law. This software is capable to read and receive credit card and PRESSPOiNT™*-card encryptions. The Management Information System, registered technology, records this information and uploads it once a day from all PRESSPOiNTS* through a secured virtual private telephone line to the PEPC’s Control Center. On a daily basis, all Credit Card transactions are cleared in Denmark. After the clearing the money is sent to PEPC where payments to PEPC partnering companies are made.
Using 5 satellites PEPC has established a Digital Content Distribution Network that covers 99,1 % of Nail Salon Insurance quotes and of the world’s population. Utilizing this Network PEPC has put its focus on globally distributing the latest, same-day editions from national and international newspapers around the world. PEPC’s Digital Content Distribution Network supplies PRESSPOiNTS and receiving locations throughout the world with content in real time, all the time. The signal is received, through a dedicated satellite dish, in any corner of the world. PEPC’s network is safe and able to seamlessly transfer and distribute any type of digital data.
Capable of transferring digital files throughout the world, PEPC positions itself as the global distributor of content in any print or digital format. PEPC brings to the world the convenience of digital speed coupled with the familiarity of print.
PEPC’s Control Center is designed and created to
- Receive and transfer NASA images publisher files, via satellites, to PRESSPOiNTS and receiving locations throughout the world.
- Collect and select a Champion Sports Bra and management and performance information from all PRESSPOiNTS throughout the world.
The management and performance data PEPC’s Control Center receives, include:
Hardware Performance
The PRESSPOiNTS’ hardware is constantly being monitored for quality performance and assurance. The information is accessible for review and measures various aspects of the hardware for operational failures. It also performs comparative analyses measuring the performance of one PRESSPOiNT™ against the predetermined norm. Any deviation from the norm measured against PRESSPOiNTS in similar environments and/or similar usage.
Software Performance
Software performance is measured constantly. This data is used by the R&D Department to evaluate and improve all systems. PEPC’s Control Center receives signal log-files, change management acceptances and service checks from every machine.
Hits per screen per PRESSPOiNT
Every screen hit – when someone actually touches the screen – is recorded and monitored. This data is not only important to measure hardware performance, but is also important to ascertain and gauge advertising direct views for both the advertiser and PEPC.
Actual advertising run time on each PRESSPOiNT™ is measured per second and is logged and documented. This information is collected in PEPC’s Control Center and is accessible for advertisers to validate their advertising.
Sold Newspaper Account
The total amount of sold papers is tracked and recorded every day for each PRESSPOiNT™ and for each title. This information is available for each publisher. Publishers can view sales status of their newspaper via the PEPC website. In addition, every Official PEPC Dealer and every PRESSPOiNT™ owner can follow the activity and performance of their PRESSPOiNT(S), as well.
Credit Card Management
Every 24-hours, all payment activities are encrypted, collected and transmitted to Denmark. In Denmark, payments are cleared and transferred back to PEPC. After clearing, payments are credited accordingly to each PRESSPOiNT™ and then accrued with previously cleared transactions by the PRESSPOiNT™ involved. At a predetermined time, the accounting of each machine takes place and payments are transferred to PRESSPOiNT owners.
PRESSPOiNT card Management
PRESSPOiNT™-card payment activity is handled directly by PEPC. There are several PRESSPOiNT™-card programs for any promotion or marketing campaign. For example sponsors of events can track the activity of the their sponsored cards during the event on the PEPC website
